“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need.”-Hebrews 4:16
Sometimes there are those moments in life where you wish you could hit the rewind button and erase some of those terrible life choices, whether they were big or small, serious or just embarrassing (like bad haircuts, stirrup pants, and that dance you did when you thought no one was looking…)! Maybe it was that thing you did or those words you said, we all have them. Where, if you hit the pause button on life, you would be disappointed in the person you see, ashamed of being caught at one of your not-so-greatest moments. I know I can recall a lot moments of my own where I reacted badly to a situation, doing or saying something that I would later regret. It’s a hard pill to swallow, to reflect and see how awful of a person you must have seemed in that moment…definitely not something to be proud of. But there is one thing I am proud to know-that because of Yeshua’s love and sacrifice for not only my sins, but the sins of others, I know His grace and His mercy, for without it I would be lost forever. For that, I am grateful and thankful and blessed, because He knows me and loves me anyway, even when I don’t deserve it. So no matter what you have done or said, or worn because of your love of all things 80’s…just know that He loves you and bestows His forgiveness, grace, and mercy on those who call on His name.
“For it is by grace, you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”-Ephesians 2:8
